The Food Diary - Corn Kebabs/Cutlets

When the weather demands for some hot and crunchy munchies then it's time to heat oil in a kadhai, let your hands roll some spicy and tasty goodies and fry them in hot oil that fills the kitchen with an inviting aroma.πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Ufff!! These yummy kebabs/cutlets that's crispy and crumbly from outside, soft and mushy from inside when dipped in your favourite sauce will just make you go Mmmmmm....πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹


Ingredients:

1 cup sweet corn kernels.

2 medium sized boiled potatoes.

1/4 cup chopped onions.

2-3 green chillies.

1/2 cup bread crumb

3 tbsp rice flour

1 tsp cumin powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves

1/2 tsp garam masala powder

salt to taste

How to make...

1. Pressure cook or boil the corn kernels for 5 mins. Then coarsely grind them and add to a bowl.

2. Add the boil potatoes into the same bowl and mash it properly with the corns.

3. Add all other ingredients mentioned above into the same bowl.

4. Mix thoroughly and make a dough.

5. Then apply oil in your palm ,take a ball of lemon size from the dough and make kebabs or cutlets of any shape or size you like.

6. To medium heated oil add 2 cutlets or kebabs at a time.

7. Fry till golden brown . Once done take it out on an absorbing paper.

8. Serve hot with your favourite dip or sauce.
